Where the soundtrack is built. We edit, design and mix sound for film, TV, games and advertising, by experienced engineers in industry-standard studios.
Post-production is where a soundtrack comes together. Dialogue is cleaned and balanced, effects and atmospheres are designed, Foley is performed to picture, music is placed, and everything is mixed to the standard your broadcaster, platform or cinema requires.
At The Richmond Studios every edit and every mix is made by an experienced engineer. We don’t use AI to edit our clients’ audio: decisions about a performance, a pause or a breath are made by people who have done this work for broadcast, film and games.
Original sounds, textures and atmospheres that give every project its own sonic world.
Balanced, polished mixes for film, TV, music and online content, delivered to the right loudness standard.
Sound effects, ambiences and UI sounds designed for interactive worlds.
Big-screen mixes for cinema advertising and trailers that hit hard and stay clear.
Recover damaged or noisy recordings, restored by an engineer’s ear, not an algorithm.
Clean, consistent dialogue, edited line by line by an experienced dialogue editor.
Re-recorded dialogue that matches the original performance and the sound of the scene.
Footsteps, cloth movement and props performed to picture, bringing scenes to life.
We watch or listen through together, agree the sound style, note problem areas and confirm the delivery specification.
Dialogue editing, ADR, Foley and sound design are built up track by track, with every edit made by hand.
We mix in stereo, 5.1 or Dolby Atmos to the loudness standard you need, then share it for review.
We work through your notes and deliver final mixes, stems and masters in the formats you need.
An AAF or OMF export from your edit, a picture reference with burnt-in timecode, and the original production audio files. We’ll confirm anything else after the spotting session.
No. Every edit and mix for our clients is made by experienced engineers. We use professional tools, but the creative and technical decisions are made by people.
Yes. Tell us the broadcaster or platform and we’ll mix and master to its loudness and technical delivery requirements.
You review the mix and send notes. The number of revision rounds is agreed in the quote before work starts, so there are no surprises.
Tell us what you’re working on and we’ll get back to you to talk it through.
