The Richmond Studios Ltd (“The Richmond Studios”, “we”, “us”) runs this website, therichmondstudios.co.uk, and its CreatorSonic service for digital creators. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us about privacy at contact@therichmondstudios.co.uk or on +44 7425 654562.
We don’t use analytics, tracking or advertising cookies, and we don’t build profiles of visitors.
We don’t sell your data and we don’t send marketing emails unless you have asked us to.
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the website and our business:
Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK–US data bridge. We may also share data where the law requires it.
This site doesn’t set tracking or advertising cookies. It stores one small setting in your browser’s local storage to remember that you have seen our cookie notice. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
We keep enquiries that don’t lead to a project for up to 24 months, then delete them. Client records are kept for six years after the end of the tax year in which the work finished, to meet our legal and accounting obligations. Project media is deleted or returned at the end of a project unless we agree otherwise.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to data portability. To use any of these rights, email contact@therichmondstudios.co.uk. We’ll reply within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
